Come join the celebration of Brazil’s Independence in Newark on September 6 and 7 13 and 14 at Riverbank Park, between Jackson and Somme Streets. The festivities are being postponed due to severe weather warnings for this weekend. Organizers felt it would be difficult to build tents with 40mph winds as well as for the well being of participants. Check weather.
Sponsored by the Brazilian America United Association (BAUA)
I believe this annual event is in its 16th year.
