The Brazilian Independence Day Festival 2009 has been reschedule for Saturday, September 26 & Sunday, September 27, 2009 on Ferry Street!
As part of the 17th Brazilian Cultural Festival, the event also known as the Feast of BAUA will be held on September 26 and 27 of this year. The BAUA will be holding the 1st Brazilian Cultural Week of New Jersey, between September 4 and 10, that will present various aspects of Brazilian culture, such as food, movies, music and more.

A piano will be placed in a van. The vehicle will be stationed in various locations and times, such as:
- At the door of the restaurants participating in the Festival of Brazilian Cooking;
- In parks, at night, during which the musicians of the city may join for a jam session;
- Main streets of Newark and surrounding cities, including New York. where they can park and / or circular, spreading the Party of Brazil in Newark and poles of the sponsors.
Main Stage
The main stage to be mounted on the 26 and 27 of September, the best-known Brazilian bands Brazilian Energy, Dot Com, Márcio Mendes, among others, will be performing as well as DJs Erv Master, Bruno Bittencourt, Mario Callegari and Bruno Goiano, among others.

What time is the festival and what location? Same as last year?
