A very Happy Easter to those celebrating today. Augusto “Augie” Amador used to sponsor Easter Egg Hunts at Independence Park in the past. I don’t think he sponsored one last year. I don’t he sponsored one this year (I don’t think). Why not? If I remember correctly, it usually took place the Saturday before Easter or the week before. Some sources are telling me that there might have been one at the Little League Field but I couldn’t get confirmation. If, in fact, he has not been sponsoring these little (but meaningful) Easter Egg Hunts it must mean he’s loading up his treasure chest for 2010. Please, if anyone has any information, let us know.
