I’d also throw Krug’s Tavern in the mix there. Best hole in the wall ever!

I think the new trolleys running through the Ironbound before arena events are a great idea, and places like Mompou, Fernandes, and Titanic are great too.
My TOP 10 are VERY recommended:
1. MOMPOU- If you’re looking for a place to unwind after work or during the weekend to enjoy some good Tapas & Sangria this is the place to go.
2. ADEGAS- Decorative, Delicious, & Fun.
3. ARENA-Great for Late Night Drinks & new Bands
4. VIVO- Good Lounge & Restaurant
5. Sagres- Great to eat outdoors and grab a drink during the summer.
6. XL- Big Crowd. Great Music
7. 27 Mix- They have the best Enchiladas in Newark!
8. Prudential Center- Concerts, Games, Comedy Shows & more!!!
9. Portugalia- Best Portuguese Cuisine!
10. Andros Diner- Great for late night munchies or Breakfast = )
CityGirl, 3 of your top 10 are not located in the Ironbound.
